Hap Seng Trucks Distribution Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hap Seng Consolidated Berhad has on 25 April 2018 entered into an agreement to acquire from Mercedes-Benz Malaysia Sdn Bhd its commercial vehicles general distributorship business in Malaysia, paving the path for it to become the sole general distributor of Mercedes-Benz and FUSO commercial vehicles in Malaysia. Hap Seng Trucks Distribution Sdn Bhd is responsible for handling the import, assembly, wholesale distribution and aftersales services of Mercedes-Benz and FUSO commercial vehicles in Malaysia.
